Like many meaningful journeys, ours didn't begin with a business plan. It began with family.

Looking after our son, Ludley, changed the way we looked at life. We wanted to create something that would allow us to work with purpose while still being present for the people who mattered most.

That vision became The Hidden Drops, a small stall in Fremantle dedicated to one simple product: the coxinha.

People came because they were curious. They returned because they felt welcome. What we were building was never just about food. It was about creating a place where people naturally slowed down, shared stories, and felt at home.

Even our name was born from family. Growing up in Australia, our daughter Alexia found the word coxinha difficult to pronounce. Wanting a name that everyone could say and remember, her grandfather suggested The Drops.

A coxinha is shaped like a small drop of dough, and that iconic form became the inspiration behind our name. As our journey evolved, so did our name. Today, The Drops & Co represents not only where we started, but everyone who has become part of our story.
